FAT Loss Tips – Part Two

You Aren’t Fat Enough Yet!

If the tips below sound too hard, or you’re thinking ‘I can’t do to this,’ You Aren’t Fat Enough Yet!

Fat Loss Tips – Part 2 of 2 – Knowledge Is Power.

How well do you know yourself? Is it possible you know others better than you know yourself? If so, why is it so important for you to know more about your best friend, spouse, colleague, celebrities or mobile phone functions and not about YOU?

Until you give you and your body the attention it needs, only then will you be able to address daily habits and trends that lead you to make the bad food choices you make, if you don’t, expect the same result. One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Does that describe you, or elements of your life?

Taking a plunge towards major change can be scary. However, it is said fear is ‘False Evidence Appearing Real’, stare any fear you may have dead in the eye and watch it dissolve as it had no leg to stand on to start with. Go on, I challenge you!

Knowing how your body works is as important as what you put in your mouth. As such, you must be accountable and be aware that the ingestion of your meal is the start of the journey for that energy source, and how your body will react/use.

Here are two tips in the last of my two-part Fat Loss Tips:

Take Responsibility

Have you put on half a stone of FAT last year? What does common sense tell you, you will weigh in five years’ time should your trend continue? Now that you have finished that calculation, what are your plans? An early funeral at the extreme; disgruntled joints; high blood pressure; heart disease; diabetes with self-medicating daily until you finally expire etc.

For those of you with children, do you intend to see their many accolades and achievements such as graduation or wedding – if so will you be around? Will you use a fad diet three weeks before the happy occasion which will probably result in more FAT gain thereafter because of its severity?

Many ailments did not exit historically, nor did western-world gluttony — so far removed from the extremes of famine — just a dangerous state.

I heard a fantastic quote recently via my mother “Anytime you point a finger, three are pointing back at you!” Try this, point a finger and twist to expose the inside of your wrist, you will see three fingers pointing back at you! The message here, take responsibility for you in its entirety.

Shed The Hypocrite Inside You And In Turn Your Measurements

Why do I presume you to be a hypocrite, well many of us are in one way or another and I can bet you speak openly to others about your excess FAT; how you may not look nice in a certain outfit; whining about ailments interrelated with carrying excess FAT. So what are you doing to address it?

Ultimately, we all have free will and free won’t, and many historic milestones were won for us to have equality and freedom of rights. Don’t let it go to your head though, as with power, comes responsibility. I’d certainly prefer not to be affected by a plight that consumed me for 18+ years again.

Remove the borders and restrictions and we are one big family who need to support each other, in this instance for self-preservation. If obesity was a natural state, it would not be causing unnecessary deaths or illnesses. So what if there are clothes you can get in a bigger size (manufacturers or consumers delight?) do you like what you see?

You can think of this article as a verbal slap around your chops from me! Some of your friends and family may love you the way you are and they may not tell you the home truths needed to kick you up the derrière for positive change. Some may not even want you to change for the better – those types do exist, trust me.

Conversely, the manner in which the message is delivered can get your defences up. If it grates you to hear that your loved ones are sincerely concerned for your long term welfare, get over yourself and channel that energy more wisely. It’s a simple choice. When people ask me about my journey, I can hear if they are ready for their own change. They accept enough is enough and time passes too quickly to live in such an unhappy state. And you don’t have to.

I wonder if some of you are aware you may be discriminated against due to your physical appearance. How sad is it when you may not be offered a job for example, because some people deem your appearance as a reference of who you and your capabilities are – and you not even know it!

Be kind to yourself and channel your energies towards proactive and permanent change. Here’s a positive about being obese, the weight falls off! Again, reinforcing the fact it’s not a healthy – at ease – state for your body suit to be in. Yes some of the initial weight reduction will also be due to the ‘shock’ to your system, but it’s mainly because your body wants to assist you with alleviating the current stress it’s under (your heart working harder as are your joints and vital organs to name but a few) and is in effect letting out a big sigh of relief. Our bodies want what is best for us and we are healers by nature – such a wonderful gift! Use this knowledge to your advantage and to spur you on.
